I have 5L family health insurance coverage from my company. I want to increase the coverage by say another 5L. can you advise if incase of any claim, will I be able to distribute claim between two policies. An example might help me put forward my question better.

Policy A- Cover 5L (by company)

Policy B- Cover 5L (my personal)

Claim 7 L (in any year)

Can I assign as follows>

Policy A- 5L

Policy B- 2L

If so, can you advice which policy allow for such splits.

Thanks

Hello Sunbow,

Every Insurance product, allows you to claim from 2 policies. In your example, you will be able to claim Rs. 2 Lakhs from your own Personal Mediclaim policy.
