Mobile brain cancer One of the most common sights that we see each day is that of people with their mobile phone next to their ears. Mobile phones or cells have become a vital part of modern telecommunications. It has been seen that virtually everybody carries a mobile phone, including school going children. We have become so used to this gadget that it is impossible to think of living without mobile phones.

Mobile phone is a telecommunication and multimedia device. With the advancement of modern technology mobile phones are used not only for making calls but also for sending text messages, playing music, sharing photos and video and watching television programs.

Mobile phones communicate by transmitting radio waves through a network of fixed antennas called base station. They are low powered radio frequency transmitters that operate at frequencies between 450 and 2700 MHz with peak powers in the range of 0.1 to 2 watts.

A person using a mobile phone  for text messaging or accessing the internet will have a lower  exposure to radio frequency as the mobile user generally hold the instruments 30 -40 cms away from their body.

The health gets effected by mobile phone radiation this radiation causes brain cancer, brain tumor etc.

mobile brain cancer have always been a topic of debate. According to a statement released by WHO confirms that there is an increased risk of glioma – a malignant form of brain cancer that is associated with the use of mobile phones.
