Hi Renu, Getting benifit from health insurance is not a easy task untill you have a good service provider however mediassist is a well known service provider. In case of cashless facility, you need to approach TPA ( Third Patry Service Provider ) in a Hospital and they will send your request for the cashless approvel which will be 80 % of your requirement based on the expense and treatment prefered by doctor and in your sum assured limit and after getting approvel, you can get the benifit of the facility. I got my son, operated for appendicitis in Batra. Hospital. Operation on 7 September, due to complicated perforated. App. Discharged on 13 September. Claim amt 60000 received only. 27000. Is this. Called cashless treatment. PS. Reply soon

Medi Assist India TPA Pvt Ltd., F-2, Kailash Plaza, 2nd Floor, H-252, Sant Nagar, New Delhi, Hello, Manager / Customer Service, This is regards the claim : 5886556 pertaining to the policy number : 1304/792825026333. I was admitted to the hospital on 5th may 2011 and received a pre authorization from you and only then I went ahead with the surgery. I assume that pre authorization is sent only after a due diligence from your end is done on all the documents sent, and receiving a denial after this is not appreciated. I expected a better service . The reason claiming that illness was pre existing is not true and I don’t think any of the claim form submitted states the same. Please look into the same again and do reach out to me if you need any clarifications. Hoping this would be settled ASAP as it is almost 3 months from the incident date and delay to this extent again reflects a very negative impression on the process. Thanking you, Truly Yours, (S. sir, i am the director of "SREE RAMADEVI MULTI SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL.TIRUPATI." your staff in banglore branch has cheated me. {non receipt of new cheque issued in place of old cheque issued by you, for the credit of patient B.KARPAGAM.the cheque bearing NO.is 483334 dated on 25-02-2010.and amount is Rs 52,650/- against the final settlement claim no:-4738664 pertaining to patient B.Karpagam.} we have sent the old cheque for renewal on date 30-09-2010 to banglore branch with acknowledgement. your staff has cheated us by mis using the old cheque. until today i have not recieved the payment in the form of replaced cheque. some body in your banglore branch has eaten away the cheque amount. inspite of several request"s & also repeated phone enquiries from my side i have not received the payment . Their reply is WE HAVE DISPATCHED THE CHEQUE. but in reality it is not so. so please kindly , Respected sir please look in to the matter and do justice to me CHEATERS SHOULD BE PUNISHED thanking you DIRECTOR "SREE RAMADEVI MULTI SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL.TIRUPATI."
